Guest WTFO
Went to the prayer service for WestJet Pilot, Dwight Trefiak this evening. The funeral will be held tomorrow. As expected, a packed house, many relatives, friends, and of course, an extensive showing from his WestJet family. Our Pilots and Flight Attendants wore their uniforms as a tribute to Dwights love and passion for flying and for WestJet. The ceremony was moving and did not leave many dry eyes in the house. Dwayne Raessler did a wonderful job giving a very touching eulogy and should be commended for holding it together considering Dwight was one of his closest friends. After attending a service like that, it really makes you reflect on how truly lucky and blessed people are when they have, close family members, great work colleagues and wonderful friends. In saying that............ Pick up the phone and dial 10-10-220. Dial up your parents and tell 'em how much you love them. After that, take your best bud to the pub and buy him/her a drink to let them know how much they mean to you !! Shane Harney
