"Canada Customs employees got a scare yesterday after discovering a Second World War German hand- grenade in a parcel that was being inspected at the downtown post office. It turned out to be a dud. "It's perfectly clean. The paint is not scratched at all," Canada Post spokesman Brian Garagan said, speculating the handgrenade was a demo model or collector's item.
