Guest Fax
PISSIN' down rain in the Lower Mainland neo.....it's heading your way. A little high-level thunder & lightning.....let's hope none of the later reaches the OK. Besides the terrible loss of homes, it's pretty sad to see the destruction to the Kettle Valley trestles........we've had a hell of an enjoyable time hiking along them. MOTHER NATURE.......BRING BUCKETS.
Guest neo
The fires in the Okanagan (and elsewhere of course) have caused some terrible losses. I know that there are more troubled places in the world, but everyone should spare a thought for the residents of Kelowna. They are experiencing a bona fide, once-in-a-lifetime disaster. The KVR trestle bridges were a work of railroading art and pioneering spirit. What a shame to have them come to this end. Glad to hear there's rain in YVR. Coastal weather doesn't always reach us here, but here's hoping the moisture does. neo
