Guest Airmail Posted August 22, 2003 Share Posted August 22, 2003 The federal government is shutdown for an entire week (because of the blackout) and the country does not even notice yet Canadians pay some of the highest personal taxes among the residents of the G7. Air Canada's computer systems are slowed down because of a computer virus and all eyes are on Air Canada yet Canadians pay some of the lowest airfares they have ever paid. Pretty ironic!
