Guest blocked pitot
I am trying to write a little "wind calculator program on Excel. i.e. you enter 2 or 3 FD's and it gives you the averages at different altitudes. What I need is for an Excel wiz to tell me how to do the following: If my wind direction is 350 true, and the deviation is 20, how do I get the cell to read "010" instead of "370". How do I get the cell to subtract 360 when the value is over 360. I already have "=E5+E7" in that cell.
Guest LoginName
To get the display to show three digits (ie 010) choose "format cell" then choose custom then for 'type' enter "000", you will now display three digits.
Guest blocked pitot
Thanks guys, it worked!! I am trying to build a program where I can enter FD's from 2 or 3 stations, lets say 18000 and 24000 and it will give me the average wind speed for 18, 19, etc. I am sure more questions will follow.
