Guest PortTack
This morning my National Post has an article about the industry being posied for a turn around and increasing passenger numbers. Well that’s the same old line I’ve heard for six months and time will only tell, but there is a quote from an analyst that struck me profoundly. He mentions that crises such as 9/11/SARS and IRAQ are no longer a rarity and more of a ‘norm’ (scary to think) and that airlines operating in the new industry wishing success need to have business models that can adapt quickly to these events that are expected more and more. Sorry, I can’t find the link online but it’s in the Financial section.
