Guest henry richards
Hello, I think the CARS states that, for airline ops, the max flight time in 30 days is 120 hours? Is there an exemption to that? Thx, Henry

Guest Avcat
Henry, There is an exemption for float operators. They can fly up to 150 hours in a month, but I believe the 300 hour/quarter still applies. I think this is written right inot the CARs. Also, TC will allow on an occasional basis, an extension to the 120 hour rule, but again I believe it has to be requested in writing. Also, the 300 hours/quarter rule still applies. Hope this is of help.
