Jetsgo's May load factor grows to 76.3% as it celebrates its 1st anniversary

MONTREAL, June 12 /CNW/ - Jetsgo announced a May load factor of 76.3 per

cent, flying 97,640,472 Revenue Passenger Miles (RPMs) and 127,909,184

Available Seat Miles (ASMs). This figure includes almost 3,000 free return

trips to Toronto, which Jetsgo gave away to support the city during the SARS

outbreak. Without these seats, the load factor still reached 74.9%. The load

factor for April was 72.6%.

"As we mark our first anniversary, we are excited to see our load factors

continue to increase," said Michel Leblanc, president of Jetsgo. "We look

forward to providing Canadians with affordable air service in the years to

come."

The airline is set to kick-off its full summer schedule, with service

starting this month to six new destinations, including: Victoria, B.C.,

Thunder Bay, Ont., and Saint John, N.B., plus St. John's, Gander, and Happy

Valley-Goose Bay in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Was just watching CTV Newsnet and they are saying that AC stock is virtually worthless. Can anyone comment on this, it's sure not good news for people holding AC stock at the moment. Sorry to bust into your thread M. McRae but I couldn't start a new one.
