Guest James
Remember that deal. The Regional, Crossair took the mother company under it's wing. I don't think it has worked out very well so far, but it was a valiant effort. Wouldn't that be something, if Jazz became the parent company, and Air Canada became a subsiduary of Jazz!! And you thought things were exciting 10 years ago.
Guest ywg396
Has Jazz applied for any new licenses lately? What AC types are on the OC? Why not use Zip's license for all the domestic and transborder? For it to work, the AC pilot group would have to agree to move over to Jazz. Think of the training otherwise. I think the Swissair guys caved in a little too quick. I think there are more Dash and RJ rated guys at mainline than Boeing and Airbus guys at Jazz. But hey, never know what the boyz will do next to lever one group against another...
