BA have stopped all staff travel and duty travel to YYZ, and are in the process of rescheduling the crew layovers to avoid YYZ...

depressing news...

I'm afraid BA has been watching too much CNN. I love the fact they show everyone wearing masks - that's because they only show footage of hospitals. Why don't they get out to the malls where the general public visits? No masks there.

BA have no need for CNN...they simply have to tow the line with government recommendations...I'm afraid Mel Lastman saying he's "so MAD" because of WHO decisions doesn't cut it after the "soup pot in Africa" incident...yep, ol' Mel is a laughing stock over here as well...

cheers,

Neil

He was notably toned-down for the exclusive CNN interview yesterday. On a social level he really is an embarrassment to Toronto. Lastman may very well be a smart man, but he comes across as uneducated, terribly outspoken, and whiney - for starters. At least Hall had social graces.

Rant over.

Hall had social graces alright, to go with her socialistic policies too. I'm afraid I'll take the embarassing Lastman over Hall any day.

I guess if BA has chosen to take the WHO's advice then yes, we won't be seeing BA in YYZ for a few more days. Fortunately, just about all other airlines haven listened to the CDC instead and are still coming.

I waited in the longest immigration crew line I've ever seen at T3 the other night. I counted at least 5 different int'l crews.
