Guest FL410
From the Edge… 1. Mandate Air Canada be only a single company. Roll Jazz, Tango, Zip, and mainline into one. 2. Reconstruct all seniority lists to represent “Date of Hire” with no other criteria. List to give any connector pilot (not applicable to Georgian pilots), their connector date of hire. 3. Start cuts from the bottom of the list. 4. Propose that the first contract be 50% of the average North American airline contract for wages/working conditions. 5. Payroll amount from item 4 to be redistributed on a status pay system to help AC with avoiding massive retraining costs. 6. Learn from the past. Just a proposal from the edge… IMHO, FL410
Guest jeanmermoz
Already flawed, it will not work. ALPA, in the USA, has already recognised that DOH is a no go...
Guest C185
FL410 .. Very good idea. It would work if all parties agreed to it. It is the way it to go. Unfortunately not all can see the proper perspective.
