Guest widebody Posted December 10, 2001 Share Posted December 10, 2001 another 'rumour' for you guys, this one more confusing and sinister. on friday fontaine decided, with the companies appoval that as of today the ex-cail locals would be immiediatly disbanded and would fall under the juristiction of the ac locals. when the comment was made that their local executive, general chairmen, negots. people et all, were all duly elected and should continue to represent the folks in some manner, this was immiediatly dismissed and forgotten...could this be because fontaine does not want the extra locals being used to divide ramp and tech-ops??? Guest widebody Posted December 12, 2001 Share Posted December 12, 2001 that is my understanding from our general chairman last night.some clarification though, he says the lodges will maintain their status with grand (the number will continue) but all ex-cail people are now represented by the ac shop commitees, excecutive, and general chairpeople (does this give mtc an opportunity to take over those locals???).the ex-cail elected people are out in the cold and have no voice.
