In The News Posted July 6, 2012 Share Posted July 6, 2012 Marvin Hollenbeck is a Distinguished Flying Cross recipient and was the first U.S. pilot to land on Iwo Jima -- landing there to deliver mortar artillery while the battle for the island raged around him. Hollenbeck later flew the F9F in Korea. He will turn 91 years old this year. His wars are long over. Now he's battling cancer. Click through to do a little hangar flying with a war hero.
