Kip Powick
LONDON, England (CNN) -- Explosives experts are searching an Emirates airliner at London's Gatwick Airport following a report of a "suspicious device" on board, police told CNN on Sunday. All passengers and crew have been evacuated from the aircraft which landed safely at 6.48 a.m. GMT (2.48 a.m. ET) following a flight from Dubai. The plane is currently in a holding area, Sussex Police said in a statement. "There was something on board that they were not happy about," said airport spokeswoman Julie Ayres. She did not offer further details. The airport was temporarily closed as a safety precaution but is now re-open, police said. Some flights may be slightly delayed but there are reports of no major disruptions, they added.
