The company is obliged to prove to all the unions' satisfaction that each met its cost-sharing target. If it can't, one lawyer said, it would have to reopen all the deals. This stipulation also applies to the cost-savings target Air Canada set for management and non-union employees as part of the push by GECAS and Deutsche Bank for a total of $200-million in annual labour cost reductions.
