I see Fane said not one Union member wants to move to more concessions, in fact he says the union members are backing the executives all the way.... Guest GDR Posted April 5, 2004 Share Posted April 5, 2004 Hi Kip Around the time of the attempted takeover of AC by Onex and AMR, Buzz Hargrove was very quick to jump on board the Onex deal and support Schwartz. More recently he and Dave Ritchie were determined right from the start to have Victor Li driven away, even to the point that someone made racial slur. It sure makes me wonder what the end game is here. Is Schwartz and company going to support Onex and Texas Pacific and make it impossible for all others? What's in it for them? Somehow I am extremely uncomfortable with union leaders picking the guys that are going to be involved with this. Personally, I still believe that TTI was the ideal investor because of his long term committment and his foreign contacts.
