An Apology to JAZZ

For those of you who remember….. there was a picture of an AC RJ in a bit of a snow shower with Captain “Wingnut” going up the stairs in October's issue of AIRLINE PILOT. The caption read that it was an Air Canada Jazz aircraft and crew.

This months issue, on page 09, has an apology printed with a picture of a Dash 8 in Jazz colors, in flight, and the following below the picture..

The airplane and the pilot on the cover of AIRLINE PILOT, October, were incorrectly identified as flying for Air Canada Jazz but are in fact Air Canada.

We were dismayed and embarrassed to learn of our error and sincerely apologize to the Air Canada Jazz pilots, who pointed out that their “new” livery is very different from that of the larger carrier.
