I just did the three engines in the boat and they "figured" I had about 12 litres so charged me $1.20. I have one of those BLACK, (plastic?) cans, looks like a Jerry Can, and thats what I pump the oil into and then truck it back to CT. Kip. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The landfill site in our area does not charge a cent to drop off paint, oil, tires and other harzardous waste. By not charging it is their hope that people will not pour this junk down the drain or sewer. This is a rare occaison to compliment the politicians.
