I want to know where the new airplanes are coming from because less than 100 F/A's have taken a package so far. On what airplanes are the other 900 going to work? Fido Posted November 11, 2004 Share Posted November 11, 2004 A lot of these will be summer replacements for senior F/A's who will take unpaid leaves. The temps are paid less than half what the seniors are paid, so it makes it worthwhile for AC. In past years about 500 were hired under this program. So the rumour is not for summer temps or remplacement workers for people on leaves or block sharing... There was also talks of 40 new destinations for AC... Anyone can confirm these rumours!
