conehead
Anyone know when they are getting their new ships? Or have they arrived already? I hear some Maintenance guys are on 767 training right now.

Ex 9A Guy
I am curious as to why Skyservice went with the 767 as opposed to an Airbus product, seeing as they already operate a predominantly Airbus fleet. Now you can have some real good Boeing vs. Airbus arguements on those long legs.
J.O.
There is no argument, the Airbus is better. Sadly, they're also more expensive to lease! Like everything else, quality comes at a price. $$$$$ Even RG doesn't have enough pull to stop the influx of Starbucks-stained twin jets. Preparing to duck as we speak. Helmet and protective gear already in place (and tongue in cheek).
Mike Lavoy
I am curious as to why Skyservice went with the 767 as opposed to an Airbus product ..... Because they wanted a real airplane.
Mitch Cronin
Because they wanted a real airplane. Maybe..., but DC10's burn too much fuel... so I guess they had to settle for '67's (boy, give the guy some training and he falls in love... )
J.O.
Because they wanted a real airplane. And the search continues .... Personally, I'm holding out for when we're the Canadian launch customer for the 7E7!
