Kip Powick
AGING…another perspective While waiting for my first appointment in the reception room of a new female dentist in our little town, I noticed her dentistry certificate, which bore her full maiden name. Suddenly, I vaguely remembered that a gorgeous, built like a brick outhouse, girl with the same name had been in my high school class some 44 years ago. I also remembered that at one time I had a heartfelt crush on her, and over the years, wondered what she had done with her life. Upon seeing her, however, I quickly discarded any such thought that she was the same girl of year past. This, gray-haired woman with the deeply lined face, and stooped shoulders was way too old to have been my classmate. After she had examined my teeth, I mentioned the name of my old High School out in BC and asked her if she had attended the same school. "Yes,"she replied. "When did you graduate?" I asked She answered, "In 1960. Why?" "You were in my class!" I exclaimed. She looked at me closely, and then the old b#tch asked, "What did you teach?"
