Azure
Matthew Great site, do you sleep on the runway? Just a note, the YYC live atc feed hasn't worked in ages so I guess the guy gave up, you might want to delete that link. Keep up the great work. Guest DaveCarter
The whole article was great and informative, but the following passage is quite wrong, and I'm surprised he made this mistake. Quote from the snag sheet....The process of fleet renewal continues even as this article is being written. The attractive “used aircraft lease market” has allowed Air Canada to add aircraft to its stable at very low cost. AC417 (C-GJUL), a 159 seat A320 from the abortive SkyService/Roots Air effort, is now at Winnipeg Maintenance for pre-service modifications. AC417 will become a back-up Tango aircraft based at Toronto. Aircraft 417 C-GJUL did indeed come from Skyservice. But it had nothing to do with the Roots operation. At the time of the Roots effort JUL was operating as C-GVXC, delivered new to Canada 3000. It operated the winter of 2001/2002 with Skyservice before being returned to the owner, who leased it to Tango. Air Canada has since sent it on to USA 3000 in the states, since this article was written of course
