Guest WA777
That's what it looks like to me.... 3490 x 10% = 349 pilot layoffs
Guest Lupin
I'm shure its not that simple guys.... some departements are experiencing slow times... the company will use the layoffs to adjust all the departments. Some other department are going full bore...they are unlikely to get layoffs Lupin

Guest CarryOn
There is retirements, job sharing and a pay cuts to consider before any pilots are laid off. The cost of training has to be worth the lay offs in the long run. If there were suddenly 350 reductions the ripple effect of new positions could cost more then keeping them on payroll. Guest WA777
I agree....I'm sure the number 349 will be subject to adjustment.......
Guest Geminoid
I wish you were right. However, historically, the company has given very little attention to which departments/areas are working full bore. This is particulatly noticeable in ground jobs The percentage is 10%? Then all departments have been cut 10%. Geminoid
