You can also puruse the local papers on line for a possible condo deal which sometimes offers a lot more for less. The Crab Shack is a restaurant in the Coast Hotel and it's an awesome place to eat. The Employee Charitable Foundation (West) would like to advise all active and retired employees and their family and friends, that special Whistler lift ticket prices of $55 Cdn per adult ticket are available for the balance of March. Spring rates of $45 Cdn per ticket, begin April 1. Prices include G.S.T. Each lift ticket sale comes with a special Whistler discount card valid for savings at retail and dining establishments in Whistler until October 2004. A portion of the sale of the tickets will help support such worthy charities as the Kidney Foundation, Heart & Stroke Foundation, Alzheimer Society and the Disabled Skiers Association of BC. Tickets can be purchased from Mon. to Fri. between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the People Services counter in the YVR Ops Centre, 6001 Grant McConachie Way, Richmond BC. As for hotels, I always stay at the Delta Village Suites. It's not a ski in, but the rooms are fantastik, fireplaces, fully equiped kitchens including dishwasher, and washer and dryer. Suites are either 1 or 2 bedroom. Great property, call them directly for airline discount rate (usually $99/night for 2 people. Slightly more for extra person or 2 bedroom.
