Basically, we both remain with guns to our respective heads. Scope not 'officially' resolved. I assume a mediator will solve it.

Maybe, just maybe, we should resolve it ourselves. If ACPA would only return that call.

Scope means nothing anymore. In the event the company plans to purchase aircraft that have 56-110 seats, they will advise ACPA, ALPA and Jazz, who will determine amongst themselves who gets to fly what.

So scope means that Jazz is guaranteed 55 seats or less, and anything more than 55 up to 110 is up in the air.

Some victory. If the original RJ's had gone to Jazz in the first place (aircraft nobody wanted to fly given the rock bottom seniority on it), we wouldn't be in this mess.

"Scope means nothing anymore".

"So scope means that Jazz is guaranteed 55 seats or less..."

"Some victory" is a sarcastic way of saying that there's no victory, contrary to what some others are saying/boasting.

I find it hard to understand the acpa president proclaiming that the 55 seat scope clause is still in effect, and in the same breath, say that btw, we have to bid for the aircraft with 56-110 seats. What makes him so sure that ACPA will get those aircraft?

You know who is going to get the 56-110 seat aircraft? Here is a hint:
