Guest Operation Bomberclad
This interview with analyst Tony Hine- notice he mentions that Zip is money-losing, but no mention of Jazz. Though he is a bit dopey and parrots the "Walmart" idea, he inadvertently exposes just why Onex is now delaying the due diligence of Aeroplan. Who is in for a "thorough drubbing" now? http://www.cbc.ca/clips/ram-lo/nbn_langan_hine030312.ram
Guest b52er
I'm not sure what or sure who you're "thorough drubbing" comments relates to however what I did find interesting is that AC has, according to the media, been approached by "others" to study the model of Tango, as It has reportedly been such a success. It's funny how one day, you're a hero with a plan, and the next you're labelled as a money losing proposition by the "analysts". It's too bad that that these "analysts" have such impact on our day to day lives. Let's face it, one minuete, our futures are solid and filled with prosperity, the next their in jeopardy as stock prices sink to new lows, not always based on fact but rather on tongue in cheek comments forcing jittery investors to bail for no reason. Now don't get me wrong, that's not to say AC doesn't have problems, or anyone else for that matter, but it does bother me that so many pay attention to "analysts". That having been said, what exactly did he intend by stating "Jetsgo's plan doesn't make any sense?"
Guest b52er
I thought that other airlines flocked to AC to study "Tango" as it has been toted as such a success? Funny how "analysts" themselves confuse the investor when it comes to reporting on our industry as many had stated that "Tango" was a good strategy. As well, what exactly was inteded by stating that Jetsgo's plan does not make any sense?
