Guest yyzfreak
I just spent some time writing a post and when I tried to post it I got "server error". My work had disappeared! Does anyone know if there is a way to get it back?
DEFCON
Place the cursor over your "work" area when you get a message like that and right click. A window will open. Left click on the "back" prompt to restore your original post.

sustainable
Also, if you are using IE 6 on XP, don't use the index page to enter the site. Go to the homepage first and then select the forum. Don't know why but it works.
Moon The Loon
If you are concerned about the content of your reply, you could try composing your reply in MS Word or equivalent word processing program, then saving it to your disk. Once done, "select all", "copy" and "paste" into a reply window. Two things will be accomplished: 1/ If you've posted in "passion", time will have passed and you will be able to take a sober second look at what you're posting, and 2/ your work will be saved in the event you experience what you experienced!! Been there, done that...
