Guest jettech
We haven't heard anything about this but I expect we'll find out if and when you guys show up. Bring your vests only if they fit under your wool undies!
Guest ame767
No need for kevlar, just woolies. Fuzzy Bill Z, in one of the last big decisions he made before being punted aside, decided we should have a fouth overhaul line here(removing line mtc in the process). No consideration to equipment, parts or most importantly, people. They have said they need to hire about 100 people but its -35 deg. right now and the applications aren't pouring in, coupled with the new requirement that all new hires must have ame's (we know they meant 'ame-able' but that's not what the wording is). So if you would like to come for a month or so you'd probably be welcome...it is however a very different world from yvr.
Guest canmech
The company has requested (5)- Cat 01 ...(8)- Cat 13 and (10)- Cat 19's.The starting date on the reassignment letter states Feb 4.Man! I don't think they sell thermometers in B.C. that go as low as -35.You should hear the whining out here if we leave the hangar doors open more than a couple of minutes. That -35 degrees might be a factor in the lack of volunteers from YVR.Later Canmech!
