Guest ame767
Gentlemen, the company is up to its old tricks of having different standards for different bases. Who is presently being paid, as per the agreement (i believe lou 14??), as an LLAT?There was a post a while ago from yvr about how the senior guys on a line where getting the pay, not the senior most guys on the base. Are they paying avionics and sheet metal leads as LLATs? Just former ICC's? What ratio (lead to LAT, mechanic) are they using if they are paying the LLAT wage?In ywg no-one is getting the wage yet but they have promised to pay retroactively when it is all sorted out who is elligable. I'll believe that when i see it.Is anyone working under one seniority list yet? We still have distinctly different work groups and the company is making an obvious effort to aviod trying to understand the arbitrators judgement as well as their own new QA system. conehead
In YYZ Line Maintenance, it's the senior guy(s) on each crew that are getting the pay. Yes, avionics and tin bashers are getting it too. There is on LLAT for every 12 LAT's on the crew. Ironically, there is a crew working 4 X 3 in the 747 hangar with mid-week days off, and the senior guy has about 4 years with the company. He is getting the LLAT pay. There are guys on other crews with much more seniority but not getting the pay, because they are not the senior guy ON THAT CREW. By the way, the guy getting the money is not doing anything different than he was before.Hope this helps. If you guys are not getting the money on your base, I would make a lot of noise and find out WHY NOT????
