I received an e-mail back from Robert Milton today in response to an e-mail I sent him. Basically I told him that blaming the airline crisis on Sept 11 is a lie (look back to the pilot's strike-the airline was down for a lot longer than the three days, and nobody was layed off after the fact). He wrote back to say-and I'm paraphrasing-we all must take responsibility for our own actions and stop trying to find someone else to blame...It just made me think about my position in this company, and union. What could I have done differently? With the company-not much. As a licensed member of the line maintenance team, I believe that keeping the metal in the sky in a timely fashion is upholding my part. However what difference can/could I have made in the union. We are either achievers or b@@chers...right? Well from the responses I have been getting I think that we are all tired of b**ching and anxious to achieve that which we deserve.

Sorry for sounding like a platform but that's what I was thinking.
