st27
Back in the day, when the aviation business wasn’t so “serious” and companies had some “characters, flight attendants would wear name tags. Some of my favourites: Ward Eyre O.H. Miss M.R. Ducks Also, there was a pilot who “modified” his green MOT tag, and pasted a picture over his image with that of his German shepherd. So the story goes. On a layover in YQT, being dropped off at the terminal, cutting behind the sales counter, through the bag room and onto the ramp to the awaiting aircraft....we didn’t need no stinkin Catsa. I remember commuting out of Ottawa in uniform, and the Commisionaire would actually get up out of his chair and open the door at the crew bypass, not even look at my MOT tag, as I passed. I would thank him of course. Dont even get me started about the jump seat! Boy, have things changed!

Jaydee
I heard of a case where a Captain and his FO (which happened to be female) switched ID's for a 4 day cycle and no one ever noticed.
