if Mr Putin decides to use tactical nukes against the Ukraine

I hope you are wrong, because If your scenario does happen, imo it really doesn’t matter because before they land the American nukes will already be airborne. They wont have a lot of choice. I also think Putin knows this and is also very aware that there are no winners in a nuclear conflict. The man’s a megalomaniac but I don’t think he’s stupid. We can only hope someone takes him out before he takes the world out.

Here's a quote from Biden's new disinformation secretary.

Is it possible that they (and she) actually know what a women is now?

What's changed here...  I'm wondering what makes her think she's a women if she doesn't actually know what a woman is.

Anyway, it doesn't look like the "silencing" efforts are going any better than the liberal quest for determining gender, this creature just keeps on talking.

How was she able to determine who was harassing who? Is she a biologist?

"We accept that harassment of women is simply the cost of their social media engagement, or worse, that women are expected to endure harassment and silencing in the name of ‘free speech.’ It is long past time for that to change," she wrote in one passage of the book released in April.

Jack Knox: It's a mother of a job, but sign me up

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there! We wish you never-ending appreciation and recognition by children who always help out around the house, seldom give you an eye-roll and are never found passed out drunk face down in the driveway.

One of the perks of being a mom: breakfast in bed on Mother’s Day (not a guarantee).Getty Images

A formidably pleasant woman in well-tailored business attire, she shuffled through the files on her desk, pulled out the one with my name on it. “Good morning, Mister, um …

“Right, so it is. I’m Ellen Fredaine, director of human resources here at FamCo. It says here on your application form that you’re looking to fill the position of …”

“Mother.”

“Pardon?”

“Mother. I saw in your ad that Canada is terribly short of mothers and FamCo has openings. Thought it might be the career for me.”

She paused. “Well, yes, it’s true that motherhood isn’t as common as it used to be, but are you sure you’re the right person for the job?”

I bristled. Here it was: ageism in action. “I can assure you that while there might be smoke on my roof, there’s still fire in the furnace,” I huffed.

“OK, most of the snow has slipped off the roof, but I think you’ll find me as vigorous as any 25-year-old. Or, at least, any 25-year-old with wonky knees, a bad back and a habit of falling asleep during Law and Order reruns.”

Flustered, she appeared to struggle to find the right words. “It’s not your age,” she said, almost sounding as though she meant it. “It’s just that most of our mothers are… women.”

It was my turn to pause. I took a moment to compose myself, then fighting to keep the edge out of my voice — asked, “Do you have a calendar?

“A calendar?”

“Yes,” I said, “I just wanted to make sure we weren’t STILL STUCK IN 1964!”

She soldiered on. “You know that we at FamCo also have several openings for fathers.”

“Tried it,” I shrugged. “Failed miserably.”

“Also,” she said, “there’s a whole array of options outside of FamCo. Canada is desperately short of family physicians….”

“Too much paperwork, stress and overhead.

November can’t come soon enough. It’s time to start plugging the leaks before the mighty ship USA becomes the Titanic2

Biden’s Job Approval Is Underwater In All But Four States:

Joe Biden’s approval rating as President continues to crater, according to a new nationwide poll.

The Civiqs poll of nearly 200,000 respondents across all 50 states found that just 36% of registered voters approve of the job Biden is doing so far, compared to 54% who disapprove. The poll also found that Biden is seeing a positive net approval rating in just four states: Vermont, Massachusetts, Maryland, and Hawaii.

Biden’s approval is underwater among every age group as well, the poll found. Among 18-34 year-olds, Biden’s approval is underwater by a massive 29 percentage points. His approval rating sits at just 27%, compared to 56% who disapprove. Among 35-48 year-olds, Biden faces a net disapproval of 20 points; just 34% of voters approve of Biden, while 54% disapprove. Biden is 16 points behind with 50-64 year-olds, at 39% approval and 55% disapproval. Biden fares best among 65+ voters, but is still 11 points underwater, with 42% approval compared to 53% disapproval.

Biden is also at a net disapproval rating with every education category in Civiqs’s poll. Non-college graduate voters disapprove of Biden by a 21-point margin: 34% approval, 55% disapproval. College graduates disapprove by a slightly lower 18-point margin: 37% approval, 55% disapproval. Voters with postgraduate degrees disapproved of Biden by just 5 points, 43%-48%.

Breaking down by race and gender, Biden is also in trouble. A massive 62% of male voters disapprove of Biden, while just 30% approve. Biden is also underwater with women, with 40% of women approving and 48% disapproving. White voters also overwhelmingly disapprove of Biden’s job performance: 63% of white voters disapproved, while just 29% approved. Biden’s approval was strong among black voters, with 65% approval and 18% disapproval. At the same time, he was barely above water with Hispanics, who approved of Biden by a razor-thin 2-point margin, 45%-43%. Voters of “other” races disapproved of Biden by 11 points, 39%-50%

Biden’s approval was also strong among Democrats, who favored him 74%-12%. Nearly all Republicans, 96%, disapproved of Biden’s performance. Just 2% approved. Most notably, a massive 39-point majority of independents, 63%-24%, disapproved of Biden’s job so far.

Biden’s approval is in the 40s in 11 states, in the 30s in another 17 states, and all the way down in the 20s in 16 states. In two states, West Virginia and Wyoming, Biden’s approval sits at an abysmal 19%. Just four states approve of Biden. In Hawaii, 51% of voters approve of Biden, while 38% disapprove; in Maryland, Biden is barely above water, 45%-43%; in Massachusetts, Biden is ahead 47%-41%; and in Vermont, Biden is ahead 49%-38%. Critically, Biden is underwater in battleground states with competitive elections that may determine the fate of the U.S. Senate: his approval in Arizona is 24 points in the negative, 34% approval to 58% disapproval; 24 points negative in Georgia, 32%-57%; 26 points in Nevada, 33%-58%; 4 points in New Hampshire, 44%-48%; 20 points in Pennsylvania, 35%-55%; and 17 points in Wisconsin, 38%-55%.

The Civiqs poll comes on the heels of other recent polls showing that Biden’s support has collapsed among key demographics. A report from Gallup found that Biden’s support plunged downward by 19 points among millennial voters and 21 points among Generation z voters over the course of his first 14 months as President, as the Daily Wire reported; a Harvard Youth Pollconducted by the Institute of Politics at Harvard’s Kennedy School found a similar trend, as Biden’s approval fell 18 points among 18-34 year-old voters over the course of the last year. In addition, a Quinnipiac poll found that Biden’s approval among Hispanic voters has collapsed by a massive 43 points in the first 15 months of his presidency.

The Exasperated American

Will the voters channel their furor at this regime of lies into an unprecedented turnout at the polls in November?
Vth441YH_400x400-160x160.jpeg
May 8, 2022

A large majority of Americans now have no confidence in Joe Biden and his administration, which often polls below 40 percent, with negatives nearing 60 percent.

Despite the 15-month catastrophe of his regime, the level of his own unpopularity remains understandable but still remarkable. After all, in 2020 voters already knew well of his cognitive deficits and the radicalism of his agenda. They saw both clearly starting in 2019 and during the 2020 Democratic primaries, the primary debates, and the general election.

So what did Biden’s voters imagine would happen when a cognitively challenged president, controlled by hard-Left subordinates, entered office—other than what he has done?

Now, as then, the media is fused to the progressive agenda and does—and did—its best to turn a non-compos mentis Biden into a bite-your-lip centrist empath in the Bill Clinton “I feel your pain” mode.

The American people know that on every occasion their president speaks, he will slur his words at best. At worst, he will have little idea where he is, where he has been, or what he is supposed to be saying or doing. When he is momentarily cognizant, he is at his meanest, or he simply makes things up.

Our new normal of a mentally incapacitated president is not entirely new in American history—Woodrow Wilson was an invalid during the last months of his presidency. But Wilson’s condition was well hidden. Quite novel is the idea that the American people know the man in the White House is cognitively disabled and simply expect him to confirm that bleak diagnosis each time he opens his mouth.

If Donald Trump exaggerated, Biden flat out lies daily. His most recent untruth was his assertion that the MAGA movement represents “the most extreme political organization that’s existed in American history.” Biden cannot really believe that roughly half the country is now more dangerous than Antifa, Black Lives Matter, the Weathermen, the American Nazi Party, the American Communist Party, and the Ku Klux Klan. And this comes from the mythically moderate “good old Joe from Scranton”?

The bullied people also know the Biden problem has no remedy. The 25th Amendment that Democrats and the Left raised nonstop in efforts to remove Trump—from the Rosenstein-McCabe wear-a-wire embarrassment and former Yale psychiatrist Bandy X. Lee’s congressional tomfoolery to the incessant Montreal Cognitive Assessment demands—won’t apply to Biden.

Either the media will continue to rebrand his incapacity as Ciceronian eloquence or it will privately gloat that Kamala Harris is so off-putting, so uninformed, so unpopular that the people would prefer an amnesiac Biden to a nonimpaired Harris. The truth is, the three doyens of Democratic progressivism—Joe Biden, Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.)—all struggle with cognitive decline and rely heavily upon the media and the Democratic Party’s political attack machine to enjoy asymmetrical exemption. (Though, in Feinstein’s case, her support is wavering.)

Americans feel there is no remedy for this downward spiral until November. To get a sense of their dilemma, imagine a Richard Nixon in 1973 caught lying during Watergate but with Spiro Agnew waiting in the wings without a trace of scandal—except with one difference: the current media is now attacking not the president’s shortcomings, but the president’s critics who point them out.

Even if the Republicans were to win a 60-vote majority in the Senate, they would hesitate to impeach Biden simply because Harris is a more frightening prospect. And some Marquess of Queensberry centrist RINOs would not wish to codify the Democrats’ new standard of impeaching an opposition president the minute he loses the House of Representatives in his first midterm.

Most of the country has awakened to the fact that the Trump-Russia collusion story was essentially a Hillary Clinton campaign effort to destroy a political opponent, a presidential transition, and a presidency. And they know Clinton will never be indicted for her conspiracies and racketeering even if her minions rat her out to seek reduced charges for themselves.

That hoax was followed by an impeachment vote over a phone call based on two more lies: 1) the Biden family was neither corrupt nor used Joe Biden’s office as vice president and his future political career to leverage payments from Ukraine, and 2) Donald Trump canceled military aid to Ukraine rather than sent them critical Javelin anti-tank missiles put on hold by the Obama Administration.

Americans know Google, Facebook, and Twitter censors were all enlisted in the effort to destroy a former president and his outspoken supporters. And they know there is no real remedy unless two or three more enlightened billionaires follow Elon Musk’s lead.

If Roe v. Wade were to be repealed, many Americans in red states will remain appalled that some blue states will allow abortions, especially late-term abortions after 22 weeks. But nearly all will accept the rule of constitutional democracy and thus the states’ rights to make their own laws that do not conflict with federal legislation as passed by Congress and signed by the president.

These red-state citizens know the opposite is certainly not true: blue state officials will do all they can to attack those who disagree with them, who consider abortion the destruction of human life in the womb. Expect more California-style official travel bans.

Americans know that the Department of Homeland Security’s new “Disinformation Governance Board” will, by design, be run by an arch-disinformationist Nina Jankowicz. The board’s entire purpose is to coordinate with the media to brand oppositional expression as “hate speech” and “mis-, dis-, and mal-information” so that critics preemptively self-censor and moderate their opposition.

In this regard, they know that the Biden regime awards positions of great power in the U.S. government to those who do the very opposite of the intended offices’ purview. The goal is pure nihilism.

Thus, a mythographer and propagandist will adjudicate “truth.” A homeland security secretary will do his best to make the border entirely insecure. The secretary of transportation will see to it that freeways and bridges are not built. The department of energy’s task will be to ensure less energy is produced and its transportation is more expensive and more dangerous than ever. And the secretary of defense will oversee the most humiliating retreat in modern American history in Afghanistan as he cites our chief existential threat to be either climate change or “white supremacists.”

The people know the Left eventually always loses the support of the voters. But leftists still believe they can achieve and retain power, given that they control America’s cultural and informational institutions.

The Left remains hell-bent on radically changing the demography of the United States. And it always manufactures new hysterias—from the claim that Trump was “100 percent responsible” for every American death during the COVID-19 pandemic, to border officers “whipping” innocent illegal aliens, to Vladimir Putin single-handedly causing sky-high gas prices and the worst inflation since the 1970s. Each week brings another prairie fire hysteria. No sooner than it is exposed and refuted, and the Left is on to another conflagration.

Americans have a rough idea that the tragic death of George Floyd was not proof of an epidemic of lethal police shootings of black males. Yet that single death set off the entire woke conflagration of 2020 and, with the hysterias of the lockdowns, has nearly wrecked the country.

Yet in 2021, out of more than 10 million arrests in the United States, police shot about six unarmed black men. The same year, 346 police officers were shot, 63 fatally—to left-wing indifference. Moreover, roughly 8,000 blacks were murdered mostly by other blacks—to callous media and political silence. Thousands of lost black lives mattered little—except the fewer than 1 in 1,000 of that total who were tragically and lethally shot while unarmed by police.

Finally, Americans were angry at the rioting inside the Capitol on January 6, 2021. But they cannot forgive the needless lies surrounding that illegal act in an effort to fabricate an insurrection out of a spontaneous buffoonish riot.

So they recoil at the lies about Officer Brian Sicknick’s death. They are baffled about the silence surrounding the number of FBI informants among the January 6 protestors. They are angry about the lies surrounding the lethal shooting of an unarmed Ashli Babbitt. They don’t understand the refusal to release all videos or communications pertinent to the government’s reaction to the riot. And they do not fathom the disproportionate treatment of those charged with unlawfully entering the Capitol versus those 14,000 arrested during the summer of 2020, when rioting led to more than 35 deaths, some 1,500 police officer injuries, and $2 billion in property damage and massive looting.

They shake their heads when Senator Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) directly threatened two Supreme Court judges by name outside the court, ginning up an angry protest group at the doors. They are baffled that the White House press secretary sees nothing wrong with disseminating the private addresses of Justices in order to ensure mobs of protestors show up at their homes to intimidate them.

Of course, exasperated Americans are furious over the open border. They are angry their lives are being insidiously destroyed by the Biden inflation and energy prices. They are humiliated by the Biden debacle in Afghanistan and angrier still over his spiking crime wave and his mean-spirited senility. They resent Biden’s efforts to blame all these self-inflicted miseries on Donald Trump, or the “Putin price hikes” or the inability of a presidency to do anything about supposedly organic forces beyond his purview.

But behind the popular furor is a sense of impotence in the face of the untruth they are assaulted with day after day. In other words, bullied Americans are angry that people who control the nation’s institutions deliberately mislead them and do so because they hate them.

Let us hope that they channel this historic exasperation in November in a manner we have never seen before in the modern era.

Normally, fire bombings (or arson) in support of a political agenda would be considered domestic terrorism, unless it happens to be in support of a liberal political agenda.

I keep seeing threat summaries that highlight white nationals and white supremacists as dangerous and yet all I see are liberals attacking people. Be assured that left wing media outlets would have 24 hr coverage if conservative "protests"rose to the level of a fire bombing.

No 24 hour coverage here for some reason:

This from a top US ally who no longer picks up the phone when the POTUS calls.

Maybe republicans are saving the video montages for closer to the midterm elections, but given the amount of material,  I think they should start now.

Media propaganda montages would be even more telling IMO, stringing them together in a "before and after context" would paint a pretty clear picture of what's happening. I'm at a loss to explain why conservatives aren't doing that.

My war room would have a video production cell 24/7 as part of the duty watch.

CLICK ON THE LINK... and as you do, ask yourself why that's even required.

Inflation will be worse than feared this year, Goldman Sachs predicts

Yup, I think the MBA crew is on to something here.

It used to be that if you wanted to see soaring violent crime rates, ruinous inflation, hoarding, food shortages, crippled supply lines, lineups for basic necessities, price gouging (etc etc and on and on) you just put on a blue hat, blue vest and traveled far away to a warm place for a long time... you could easily save some money over the duration of your vacation too.

Good news, now you can stay home and have exactly the same experience... less the saving money part.

Backlash builds after Dems vote to legalize abortion up to birth

Way too extreme now, there's no room for negotiation, nothing to discuss, all that's left is complete and total polarization and extreme positions. 50 years from now, imagine the fate of statues, pictures and place names dedicated to people who advocate for abortion during a live birth. Every single person who is entitled to a vote should be forced to watch a video of that procedure taking place (during birth). PTSD cases would spike off the charts.

As it now stands, the only thing either side can do now is vote the other out and undo everything they did. This is how you make people afraid of election results, and being afraid of the result is bad (actually very bad) for democracy, it's the precursor to political violence becoming SOP and the breakdown of jurisdictional governance... in the US that will translate to sanctuary cities, counties and states that refuse to follow the law.

There are lots of refugees in the US, I would submit that they have a duty to speak up and share their experiences, observations and parallel events in the countries from which they fled. Either they aren't doing that or the media is suppressing their efforts for reasons of its own.

typical when you get 2 extremes driven by social medial.   Which currently says, if it can be believed, .......

Republicans evidently say no abortion and Democrats say ok until actual birth. Both very scary.

Dem witness tells House committee men can get pregnant, have abortions

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/house-committee-witness-men-get-pregnant-have-abortions

To my knowledge, not a single Demonrat (supporting the urban chicken fad) is feeding laying mash to roosters and expecting eggs.

When I see that happening, I'll believe they believe what they say they might maybe think they believe.

This lack of consistency applies to the greenies as well, they should be celebrating the record high gas prices but it appears they aren't. To achieve the goals they say they want to achieve, not only do we need significantly higher energy prices, we need to shut down entire sectors of the economy that exceed anything we saw during the covid lockdowns. Those were just a warmup for what's required.

Here's a homework assignment that will make you thirsty: find a raving liberal and ask them about the eggs from roosters thing. Then ask them what portions of the economy they want to shut down. I've been unable to find one who will answer (what should be) the most basic of questions. There's only 7 1/2 years to go, when do they plan to start thinking about it? LOL, they won't even answer that....

Here's another little exercise for ya: there are some 1.4 million people in the US who identify as transgender. Given the push toward calling mothers "birthing people" and putting menstrual products in boys washrooms (public schools), how many men (meaning transgender women) have actually given birth... for easy figuring we'll just narrow it down to the last 200 years?

I'd be interested in the average number per year expressed as a percentage of the entire population under 40 (since everyone in that demographic is a contender now). Given the policy initiatives and changes in terminology, it should be statistically significant. I looked but couldn't find any numbers.

Biden approval rating plummets to 39%, down 24 points from last year: AP poll

Cool eh? The incredible part is that (almost) 40% of US voters approve of Biden's job performance, they like what they see and want more of it.

I suspect that's roughly the case here for JT as well if you consider the 70% voting block as a whole.... that doesn't mean hard core NDP supporters would vote for him though, only that the NDP would do the same (sort) of things.

Although anecdotal at best, I've noticed that about 40% of the people I see at the grocery store (and elsewhere) are still fully masked despite the end of mandates on  March 21st.  The folks I see wearing a mask while driving solo in their cars (to me) appears to be unchanged since the height of the Covid scare.

Fear, even residual fear, is a powerful political motivator but It requires the unholy trinity to be effective and simply can't function without it. I'm willing to bet that it's effectiveness has surpassed all expectations and even surprised the politicians who have benefited from deploying it.

All that's required now is a steady stream of things for people to be afraid of.... it's such an unsophisticated (blunt object trauma) method of governing, that even a dumb grunt can now predict the future.

  • 2 weeks later...

Quote of the day:

U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said on Tuesday she was wrong about the path inflation would take following months of public statements over its perceived threat.

"I think I was wrong then about the path that inflation would take," she said during a CNN interview. "As I mentioned, there have been unanticipated and large shocks to the economy that have boosted energy and food prices and supply bottlenecks that have affected our economy badly that I didn't at the time fully understand."

No kidding.

Yes you were wrong about the path... and you're also wrong about where the path leads and what's at the end of it.  No harm done though, not a single dumb grunt on the planet believed any of that MBA crew nonsense anyway.
