Climate activists slash dozens of SUV tires in NYC, say 'major cities' across US to be hit next

Climate group slashing tires plans to 'expand massively' across US

The expansion of operations has already begun and appears to be in California now.

Those racist white nationalist groups, invented by the trinity and long billed as being the biggest threat facing the US, are falling desperately behind liberals with gas cans... almost three years of catching up to do now.

Now consider this story:

https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/london/hallway-healthcare-ontario-1.6519209

Although it might seem unrelated, it's actually not (and that's my point here). When you see the trinity you see other manifestations of failure...and the further you allow the descent into banana republic thinking the more you will experience third world conditions across the board in (seemingly) unrelated areas.

When the tempo of daily operations exceeds systemic capabilities, any and virtually all unforeseen events (requiring even limited surge capacity) result in collapse and the ripples created expand outward. This isn't an isolated incident... it's the start of a trend.

This scenario strikes fear in the heart of military career managers. When maximum effort fails to meet minimum operational requirements (policing is another good example), the capacity to out train the deficiency reduces to near zero. You will soon see maximum recruiting efforts failing to keep up with attrition rates. It's no longer a vulnerability, those days are gone... it's now a crisis.

If you only got news from CNN, it would be like living in another galaxy. Compared to liberals with gas cans Republicans seem like a pretty tame group.

Quote of the day:

Appearing on CNN's New Day Thursday morning, Don Lemon once again urged the media to hold Republicans to a different standard than Democrats in their media coverage. The primetime host tied the GOP to the threat of "growing extremism" on the right. He warned journalists to not give a "false equivalence" to both sides, and instead acknowledge Republicans were endangering America.

Then there's this from the WDYTWGTH file.

https://www.foxbusiness.com/economy/seattle-mayor-considers-incentives-police-amid-officer-shortage

When you compare what you can plainly see with your own eyes to Lemons comments, the disconnect becomes stark. Defund the police democrats are getting people killed now.

Police seeking 3 suspects who violently attacked woman, yelled 'I hate white people'

The suspects allegedly yelled that they 'hate white people' and 'the way they talk'

This isn't a trend yet.... but.

Whipping people into a divisive frenzy for political gain always has potential "equal and opposite" consequences even though the observation of it, in the early stages of development, is anecdotal... until it's not.

Establish this as a trend and you likely accomplish two things: more hate crime incidents in a seesaw fashion across the country; and the rise of those R/W white nationalist activists that liberals have (I say falsely) warned against.

Or he has he ability to drive a puck into a net.

The Columbus Blue Jackets surprised the entire hockey community, and the sports world as a whole, when they dipped their toe into the free agent pool on Wednesday afternoon and came away with the biggest prize of them all, 28-year-old superstar, Johnny Gaudreau.

Making a cool $9.75 million AAV on a seven-year contract through 2028-29 for a total of $68,250,000, Gaudreau took less money than what was reportedly offered by the franchise that drafted him, and whom he spent the first nine years of his career, the Calgary Flames.

Too much of this may elicit a backlash, I'm surprised it hasn't happened yet as it was my first thought when all of this started. Protesters could be followed, doxed and subjected to the same level of targeted abuse at their own homes. Their businesses could be doxed, picketed and boycotted.

The fact this hasn't happened yet tends to support the opposite of the perceived Christian, R/W, white nationalist, conservative, pro life extremist element we have been lead to believe was the biggest threat facing the US.

Their patience and tolerance with this abuse is actually admirable. I would have been doxing these people from day one and employing their own tactics against them. I'd take it right to their door step and deliver it in exactly the same manner, to the same extent, and for the same duration.

Canadian bishops collecting donations from papal visit 'inappropriate': AFN chief

1h ago

OTTAWA — The assembly of Catholic bishops organizing Pope Francis's visit to Canada, where he is expected to apologize for the church's role in residential schools, is soliciting donations from those hoping to see him.

RoseAnne Archibald, national chief of the Assembly of First Nations, says she was told by people looking to book spots for papal events on Ticketmaster that they were prompted to donate money to a registered charity.

Papal visit organizers confirm the registered charity is the corporate name of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops.

Related video: ‘Where’s the accountability?’ Emotions ripple through Alberta community ahead of Pope visit (cbc.ca)

Archibald expressed her concern in a recent letter to Archbishop of Edmonton Richard Smith, calling the collection of donations "inappropriate."

Archibald says First Nations people and their communities are dealing with trauma inflicted on them by church-run residential schools.

The archdiocese and papal visit organizers have not yet responded to a request for comment.

Remember when Trump was ridiculed for creating Space Command?

It was the same deal when he quite rightly pointed out the vulnerabilities inherent with over reliance on trading partners for essential commodities. He called it a security risk, and it is, but he was roundly ridiculed for that too.

Likely by the same people now cheering the creation of "Space Division."

Air Force creates new space division to help Canadian military respond to 'tomorrow's threats'

Space-based capabilities are used in communications, navigation, weather services, remote sensing, Earth observation and financial transactions

Speaking of vulnerabilities, here's another one.

If you are in favour of producing less, paying more, and contributing to the growing problem of world hunger, this is something you will approve of. It's such a bad idea that I think we should do it:

Just goes to underscore how dumb the idea is for a country that has a difficult time to supply  it's current armed forces with essential equipment without throwing in a Space Arm.  The US at least, has the resources to take on this mission, we don't.

Warren Claims Pro-Life Pregnancy Centers ‘Torture’ Women

It must be all those free diapers and free formula.

Maybe it's the volunteer child care for university students, or the job placement assistance after graduation.

Could it be the free pregnancy testing? The free ultrasounds? Maybe it's the donated car seats eh?

It's not an accident or a misunderstanding and she didn't "misspeak" either... like other LW loons, this particular one knew full well she was lying even as she spun the lie.

https://www.ctvnews.ca/health/window-is-closing-to-stop-monkeypox-spread-experts-say-1.6003718

For some reason, 70 percenters are pretty quiet about mandatory vaccination of "at risk" people, job mandates and travel restrictions should they fail to comply.

Quote of the day from the New York Health Commissioner (below)... but IMO, a little concern for the people who lost their jobs and homes (under vaccine mandates) might be good too. I doubt many of those folks will be signing petitions of support; see how that works?

When you gleefully (yes I said gleefully) trample on the rights of others, who do you think will stand up in support of yours? It's a simple (pretty basic) WDYTWGTH thing and in the long run, everyone is the worse off for it.

According to the letter, which was addressed to WHO Director Tedros Ghebreyesus, the city’s health commissioner expressed immediate concern for the “potentially devastating and stigmatizing effects that the messaging around the ‘monkeypox’ virus can have on these already vulnerable communities,” of which men who have sex with men have been primarily diagnosed with.

Not exactly a new idea…..I remember an anecdote about a ground agent who was fed up with dubious abilities of some wheelchair passengers off of Miami flights …. After escorting this w/c through customs, once clear the passenger jumped up and walked out the door…which prompted the agent to start yelling “OMG look!! It’s a miracle , it’s a miracle!”.

It was a common sight on most Miami flights. I heard an agent comment one day that we had 30 WC passengers to board in Toronto because the service was free, but In Miami the service came with a $$$ and most  everyone of them walked off unassisted.

Not enough to get fired though:

https://bc.ctvnews.ca/rcmp-officer-found-passed-out-in-a-burger-king-drive-thru-after-driving-drunk-in-a-police-vehicle-disciplined-1.6005326

If this guy had a copy of the book written by Quebec author Pierre Valleres in the car instead of a "patrol carbine" he would have been fired on the spot. As with Wendy Mesley, even quoting that title would have done it.

This can only happen in a world that labels real assault rifles "patrol carbines" and seeks to ban semi automatics (with 5 round magazines) by calling them what they clearly (and most definitely) are not.

A lot of thought goes into calling things what they aren't... it's not an accident. I can't wait to see what they call 2 consecutive quarters of negative GDP growth. It certainly won't start with R.

Quote of the day...  this should go a long way toward eliminating any lingering anti-asian sentiments in the US:

An American scientist who took issue with the official designation of the giant Asian hornet, commonly known as the “Asian murder hornet,” has successfully changed the name to the “Northern giant hornet” to avoid anti-Asian stigma.

In the same vein, It seems to me that we have come a long way in a very short period of time... its exceeded my expectations on all fronts and it will be fun to see how much more upside there is to L/W madness as we furiously paddle to Crazy Island

An interesting situation I've been following on Twitter and Reddit....

First, I am not a Twitter user but subscribed years ago to follow a few famous, well-known and articulate people.  Because of this I get a newsfeed-type summary of their posts (Tweets) along with others according to the algorithum.  No doubt these included threads are specifically chosen to get me to click and read further.

One such post lead me to a Reddit thread.  Reddit, as most people know, is a total liberal echo-chamber.

So, anyway, some family-owned food producer (deli meats, sausages, etc) was contacted by email to request some free food for a Pride event in Lethbridge.  The owner's reply used not politically correct language but essentially said that he disagreed with the lifestyle and would not participate.

WhooHoo, now the firestorm starts.  I've been reading and following the thread and here are some thoughts;

1.  The commenters hold the opinion that the owner is completely out of line with the main stream and this will surely result in complete financial ruin for the business, their families and anyone associated with them.

2.  A desire that this (point 1) happens and that it is completely appropriate for the crime committed and that there is nothing - NOTHING - that can be done to compensate those injured by the comments.

3.  Multiple posts from people gleefully posting fake reviews of the business on the internet intending to expedite their collapse and financial ruin (and believing this will have some effect).

I find it interesting because these people have elevated the crime of disagreeing with them to an infinite level - even murderers are considered to have paid their debt to society after serving their sentence.  The narrow view afforded them with their blinders on - that there isn't a large, silent subset (majority?) of the population that also disagrees with Pride parades, leftist - liberal agenda, etc but who has learned to keep their mouths shut.  And, lastly, the shallowness of the response - "I'm going to sit in my kitchen and write a fake review!"  Really?  If the "crime" is really as evil and unforgivable as you make it out to be where are your pitchforks? Why aren't you protesting in front of the business?

For the record I have nothing against gay people but I do find the idea that being gay/alternative should be celebrated and elevated as unique and special a bit much.

Our entire society is focused about what happens below their belts and totally are totally devoid of the concept that what you have ABOVE the belt that counts. The LEFT and their sicko ideals will eventually be held responsible for the destruction of the world and it can’t happen soon enough imo. Actually I think the world is already beyond the tipping point of no return.

What a sad legacy we leave for our children and grandchildren etc etc to grow up in.

From the WDYTWGTH file:

'Titanic' staffing crisis leaving at least 14 Ontario hospital units shut down ahead of long weekend

I don't think this is complicated but it requires attention to detail. Staffing levels in experience driven occupations are vulnerable to the effects of inertia and must be carefully managed.

Fail to do that and any unexpected increase in the tempo of operations invariably cause further attrition at the very time you can least afford it and then... POOF, attrition suddenly exceeds full production capability. Jurisdictions will soon be competing with each other and "stealing sheep" in an effort to stay ahead of the curve leading to even more severe problems in cash strapped areas who find it difficult to compete.

I'm beginning to think that soldier 101 should be an intro course at MBA school, if nothing else the concept of surge capacity as a function of contingency planning should be a mandatory research paper.

Now put an aviation spin on the issue... imagine a world where experienced health care workers who change hospitals (lateral moves) have their salaries reduced to apprentice levels as a consequence. They'll stay home and drive trucks... you would too.

Arguments over Anne Frank’s ‘white privilege’ reveal the absurdity of our discourse

It has become all too easy to adopt a victim mentality and blame only others for the hardships of life

A recent Twitter thread circulating broadly remarkably suggests that Anne Frank, a Jewish teenager who famously chronicled her terrifying two-year experience as a child hidden from the Nazis in an attic in Amsterdam during the Second World War, was somehow the beneficiary of white privilege. Anne ultimately was captured and sent to the Bergen Belsen concentration camp where she died a short time before the camp was liberated. She was yet another victim of the Nazi goal to exterminate all Jews.

The Twitter narrative that her experience could somehow be equated with privilege of any kind is so insulting that it is hard to believe that it is not a sick joke. It is argued that she must have had privilege by definition because she was white and her father was not poor. The truth is rather she had the privilege to die a lonely painful death.

I am a child of Holocaust survivors, a mother who survived the horrors and the death march of Auschwitz and a father who also somehow survived Buchenwald. Very few family members survived the brutal atrocities of the war. I am alive only because the infamous Dr. Mengele couldn’t draw blood from my mother and thus rejected her for sterilization experiments. Yet my family and those that perished would still be considered as having a history of white privilege simply because of their skin colour. Indeed the fact is that “white” Jews have faced centuries of religious racism, oppression, restrictions to work and pray, crusades, pogroms, and finally the Holocaust.

The concept of privilege benefitting white people has been postulated for decades. Peggy McIntosh, an American academic, wrote a paper in 1988 about white privilege and male privilege and detailed many instances where being white and/or male conveyed an undeserved and unearned advantage.1 While the concept is worth a dialogue, the Twitter dialogue about Anne Frank grossly distorts the concept.

Discrimination and trauma aren’t limited to people of colour. The Russian atrocities in Ukraine are mainly being committed against white people. Should we also consider that despite their suffering, they also have white privilege? The same would be said of the millions of innocents killed by Stalin in the Second World War.

The world is a dangerous place full of good, but also much evil. Slavery and the subjugation of people of colour are a stain on our history. Racism and persecution based on skin colour, while improving, still persists and is intolerable. I fully accept that I don’t know what it is like to be afraid of being targeted by the police and others because of skin colour. I do understand, as many others do not, the historic persecution of Jews. Irving Abella and Harold Troper in their book None Is Too Many2 describe in chilling detail the horrible story of how enlightened Canada, a country of immigrants who, because of anti-semitism, denied aid and entry to Jewish refugees. Most of them were forced to return to Europe and perished in the war.3

It is a mockery of common sense to believe that while certain white people can suffer great injustice and even extermination, they somehow can still be considered to have benefited from white privilege.

Discrimination in any form is abhorrent and contrary to the values of most Canadians and Americans. It can be based on colour, gender, ethnicity, religion, and sexual orientation. All of it is wrong and needs universal condemnation. A shooting at a church, mosque, or synagogue needs to be equally condemned by people of all religions.

There is a great deal of privilege in the world, most of which isn’t restricted to whiteness. There is an established hierarchy in most societies that tries to retain control and resists change. It isn’t simply about whiteness, rather it is more about class and status in most societies.

The caste system in India, a social hierarchy that has existed for over 3,000 years, categorizes people into different levels of respect and opportunity.4 Brahmins are priests and to be revered. Kshatriyas are rulers and warriors, Vaishyas are skilled workers, Shudras are unskilled workers, and Dalits are untouchables, relegated to the lowest opportunity. While social discrimination has lessened, it still influences opportunities including whom you are allowed to marry.

Communist China, despite promoting equality for all, has a highly structured, elitist hierarchy that determines opportunity and wealth based on membership in the Communist Party.

Saudi Arabia, another non-white country has a rigid hierarchy based on social stature, religion, and gender.

Many African countries have societal hierarchies, somewhat similar to a caste system, based on social groupings, inherited opportunities, and language that determines occupation, wealth, and social status.

The fact that inequality is widespread doesn’t mean that we have to accept the status quo. Privilege, white or otherwise, reflects inequality of opportunity and undeserved benefit. Centuries of experience have taught us that while the playing field can be greatly levelled by education, drive, hard work, and intelligence, some will have to strive harder than others. It is, however, all too easy to adopt a victim mentality and only blame others rather than explore how your own skills and effort can improve your life.

Warren Buffett is one of the world’s richest men with a net worth of about $100 billion. His fortune wasn’t inherited. It came from hard work, entrepreneurship, and a strong belief in the value of investing. He is recognized as having a very high level of integrity, ingenuity, and practical intelligence. He plans on donating 99 percent of his fortune to charity. Is his privilege in society due to him being white, or just being smarter than most other people? A lot of privilege is simply earned.

For those who focus only on being behind because of the privilege of others, rather than also due to their own failings, there is an important lesson yet to be learned. If you can’t find compassion for others that have suffered, why would you expect that others will find compassion for your suffering? If you really believe that Anne Frank and the many others who suffered greatly at the hands of those who are evil died with white privilege, then I can only feel tremendous sadness for your ignorance. You will never recognize nor take full advantage of the opportunities that you have. You will not find the allies that could help you achieve your potential and your goals.

Privilege sometimes gives some unscrupulous people the licence to do some things that they don’t deserve to do and that we abhor. Russian oligarchs have a licence to steal. Saudi Princes have a licence to kill without recrimination. Sadly we have to also accept that twits can have a licence to tweet since free speech isn’t free of ignorance and disgust.

Let’s give these girls a Cheer !! :Clap-Hands: :Clap-Hands: :Clap-Hands:

“Trans Cheerleader Booted From Camp For Allegedly Choking Female Teammate: Called Me ‘Man With A Penis’~”

A transgender cheerleader, who is a biological male, was criminally charged last week for allegedly choking a female teammate at a cheerleading camp.

Fox News reported that the incident occurred at Ranger College in Texas after the female teammate allegedly called Averie Chanel Medlock “a man” and said that Medlock should not be on the team.

Well guys I’m officially retired as a cheerleader as of last night at 5:30 AM. A girl on the team was being very disrespectful and told me I am a MAN with a PENIS and that [guys] should not be on the team,” the transgender cheerleader, Averie Chanel Medlock, reportedly posted on Facebook.

“I stood up for myself and she called her mom and dad because she was scared because I [stood] up for myself. Her father said, ‘she still has testosterone and a penis and I will kill anyone who comes after my daughter.’”

The report said that Medlock claimed the cheerleader made transphobic and racist remarks before the alleged incident happened and that video showed other cheerleaders hiding from Medlock.

Medlock reportedly said the alleged attack on the female cheerleader was a joke. Nevertheless, law enforcement officials charged Medlock with assault and removed Medlock from the campus.

The father of the female cheerleader who Medlock allegedly attacked is now demanding that law enforcement release all relevant video footage from the incident.

The father defended his actions in a post on social media, writing: “I ask you what you would have done when receiving a phone call at 1 o’clock in the morning from your daughter stating they had locked themselves in the room with other girls.”

The father added that he never made any remarks about Medlock’s “race or gender.”

The incident comes as the issue of biological males competing against biological females in sports has dominated news headlines for the last couple of years, including the most recent high profile case involving University of Pennsylvania swimmer Lia Thomas.

In a recent Fox News interview, University of Kentucky swimmer Riley Gaines spoke out against Thomas’ involvement in the sport, saying that when the college women competed against Thomas at the NCAA championships, they were not “forewarned” that Thomas would be sharing the locker room with them and undressing in front of them.

People just weren’t really talking about it. And so we get to NCAAs, it was at Georgia Tech, and so we get there, and the environment is nothing like I’ve ever seen before,” Gaines recalled. “It was so, like, almost edgy. Like people didn’t really know what to say, who to say what to, how to feel.”

“This was on day one,” she continued, “and then that night we watched Lia Thomas win a national title and blow all the other females completely out of the water. And that next day we came back and the mood had shifted to where people were mad. The girls, you know, there were tears, these poor ninth and seventeenth place finishers who missed out on being named an All-American, there’s extreme discomfort in the locker room.
