st27
I was at the Geneseo Airshow one year and the Mats Connie was there....the best! The sound of the 4 Wrights was unbelievable...they let the crowd stand beside the wings as she maneuvered on to her stand....lots of power required on the grass. The only down side to the show was that they forgot the nose gear pin so they did the show with the nose gear down.
Fido
I worked around the TWA version at YXX one year. I have never seen an airplane drop so much oil (unless one considers a SeaKing an aircraft.
Kip Powick
unless one considers a SeaKing an aircraft It is, or should be, classified as an "airship." Anything that can fly but has its wings going backwards 50 % of the time is not an aircraft....
Tango Foxtrot
Kermit Weeks and his Fantasy of Flight museum are amazing. YouTube has a lot of videos of Kermit. Check them out. Incredibly interesting.
