j.k.
There's no way Boeing is done. The US government wouldn't let it happen. One big military contract will take care of everything and put them back in the black.
j.k.
Or maybe it's time the US dumped the Saudis for the Iranians.

Fat chance, if they were smart they would dump both, pull out of the middle east and concentrate on North America. Thank goodness they are not that smart. End of political message. Canoehead
Even the US stopped taking Boeing's tool/ladder/junk laden KC 46 for a period. Boeing obviously isn't done, but what a mess.
blues deville
Stocks are still trading at a good price. But this whole Max deal is going to cost $B.

But your said done, collapsed... if they require a bail out so be it... there's no way they are gone though. Not only bad for US, bad for airlines, bad for travelers, bad for world economy. Really, they were just unlucky... could have just as easily been Airbus, don't kid yourself.

Super 80
The practical question for Boeing is how long can they keep the Max supply chain going, some of their partners have to be getting a wobbly feeling.
Tango Foxtrot
I do wonder if Boeing may decide to go bankrupt, to get out from under the law suits they will be facing?
J.O.
The other piece is the effect this 737 MAX mess is having on the insurance business. Many underwriters were already walking away from covering aviation companies, this is only going to make it worse. Airline premiums were very, very low relative to other types of insurance, but I suspect that's about to change.
