Popular with outdoor enthusiasts, Muskoka has established itself among the world’s iconic summer retreats. Flights will have an air time of approximately 20 minutes, operating twice weekly on Thursdays and Mondays between Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport and Muskoka Airport, from June 27 to September 3. Which can not be much longer than the time needed to get to the airport, check in etc. plus the flight time and then of course the journey from the airport to the final destination (hotel or what ever). Years ago City Express did that route from YTZ and passengers connected with a steam driven paddle boat (RMS Segwun) that toured around the waterways. I recall trying to get a sun baked Dash 8 to cool off enough for passenger boarding and even the short flight back to YTZ wasn’t long enough to cool it either. I was not misreading it at all. Note the heading on top of the 1:10pm TIME etc. my reference to 2 plus hours was of course for the drive to Muskoka from Toronto. boestar Posted March 26, 2019 Share Posted March 26, 2019 2:20 from Toronto to Muskoka on a Friday afternoon is a pipe dream. The timing would likely be upwards of 3 easily and I have seen it above 6. Then do it all again on Sunday night southbound. 20 minute flight sounds pretty good.
