The airliner flew 56,577.7 hours in its long career with 41,476 cycles. B727-200F, Cargojet The airframe was originally delivered to Eastern Airlines as N8885Z on October 17, 1979. Msn 21854 would later serve with Orion Air, Continental Airlines (N8885Z), Miami Air International (N889MA) and Capital Cargo Airlines. It was delivered to Cargojet on May 16, 2003. That is over 9 years of faithful service for the airframe. From Cargojet 2018 Winter Newsletter… “we continue to operate our network with a very high degree of reliability , safety, consistency that continuously surpasses industry benchmarks. We recently took delivery pf our eleventh B767-300F and our delivery eighth B757-200F and one more B767-300F to be added in the new year (2019) that will provide the base for our continued growth for years to come. The end of this year (2018) will also see us retired the last B727-200F from the fleet. This aircraft type has served us very well and assisted with our growth since the beginning.
