Flair Air might need Disney Training

Not sure why a pilot would need to take control of a gate area. Also if you really need to be somewhere without too much delay don’t fly on an airline with limited equipment or departures. 

Apparently the passengers have been refunded. That’s a positive but still doesn’t get you there.

From a passenger who videoed the whole event.Like she could tell if somebody was going to take a swing!

I imagine Flair has contracted out gate handling....after 12 hours and the way passengers are these days (mouthy and too much attitude), the Capt. probably called for the cops to be there for security as the crew deplaned.

Probably correct about their contracted ground handling. When things go south like this no one really care or makes informed decisions.

But it was evidently the Pilot who called in the cops.

Anybody else catch the hypocrisy of self appointed passenger advocate Gabor Lukacs, who now WORKS for Flair Air, chastising THE RCMP, saying this was a civil matter.  They were called by employees of the company he now works for.  I wouldn't expect any impartiality from this know-it-all-who-knows- nothing, from now on.

Any other airlines, who have 12 hour delays, he burns to the ground.  Now silence.

What are the RCMP suppose to do when they are called BY Flair; not show up?

Hypocritic.
