But I imagine we will read about a couple of "Near Death Experiences". However a bit of a puzzle, if the flight indeed was from Grand Prairie to YYC, then how come it ended up south of YYC in Lethbridge because of the problem? No guests or crew were injured and all guests have been offloaded into the terminal.” A passenger told Global News they were told the airline would be sending engineers from Calgary and it would be at least a couple of hours before the plane was able to fly again. Kasey: I saw the quote but was not sure if it was accurate or not. I didn't know that YYC had any problems during this time but . In any event well done. Regarding their revised arrival: Warnings 5:03 PM MST Friday 23 November 2018Snowfall warning in effect for: City of Calgary 10 to 15 cm of snow is expected in a narrow band. A nearly stationary band of snow has formed from Mossleigh to Calgary to Airdrie. This band of snow will move slowly northeast for the next few hours. 10 to 15 cm of snow are expected by the time the snow ends later this evening. The hardest-hit regions will likely be northeast Calgary to Airdrie to Beiseker to Strathmore. Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations.
