His Seat Runneth Over

Have had a few flights where I happily scored an exit row aisle only to have a XXXL take the middle one. Their shoulders and body spilling over into “my space” for an extended time leaving me unable to sit up straight. And fair game as I leaned into the passing low speed galley carts. Not very comfortable. If you can’t fit into one seat you need to purchase two.

Illegal and unsafe. He’s actually blocking the aisle.

But I guess he’s awake.

Must have been one hell of a seat belt extension or perhaps just a photo shop.

Sorry but I call BS on that.  I am 6'4" and over 300 pounds.  If I get a seat with the Tray table in the armrest (think Emergency exit row) then I will have issues with the seat.  I do (on airbus aircraft) require a seatbelt extension.  (Boeing seem to be longer).  I ALWAYS pick an aisle seat to limit any discomfort of adjacent passengers.  I have never had a passenger take issue.

I also do not require two seats.
