First Delta A-220-100 Rolls OUt Of Paint Shop

Video of the process. Nine days in the paint shop. Interesting sequence of color application to achieve the lettering/logo and no shortage of overspray. I would think any weight savings would be taken advantage of even in excess paint.

Nice to see the guys all in safety harness when working.

I was in Toulouse when the first A-320s were being built and we had a tour of the "workshop"

Two men under the main fuselage, one drilling, the other riveting, one guys has a cigarette going, both have no safety glasses, hardhats, or safety boots, (sneakers only)

Why Didn't I Think Of That Smiley Face, Emoticon
