In The News Posted July 12, 2018 Share Posted July 12, 2018 The FAA failed to fully address safety issues at the American Airlines flight test program, according to a report issued by the Office of the Inspector General for the Department of Transportation on Tuesday. The safety concerns in question—including the use of unqualified pilots on maintenance verification flights—were originally brought to the FAA in February 2017 by the Allied Pilots Association (APA), which represents American’s pilots.
