blues deville
The new Westjet tail looks a little busy IMHO. Some airlines have been very clever with their logos and aircraft tails. Northwest is a good example. Their 1980’s NW logo showed an N with a hidden W and worked on both sides. The pre-Delta merger version unfortunately went a step too far because on the opposite side of the tail they were “Northeast”.
blues deville
I think the AC rouge tail logo stands out but I occasionally see the angry muppet head shouting instead of the maple leaf circle.
Critter
Is Blues Deville trying to self diagnose using his own Rorschach test? What would the “Angry Muppet” mean? In all fairness, there are only a few ways to brand an aircraft without making it look to busy. I thinks airplanes give graphic design artists nightmares. Hardly an ink blot! Perhaps it’s not angry but just speaking loudly as they sometimes do.

There are many nuances in some logos. Look at the FedEx logo. once you see it you can't unsee it.

The 1980’s version compass point worked on either side of the tail but the more recent one didn’t.
