Totally has nothing to do with anything.

It has to do with the insulting comment you made about Doug Ford and his home schooling!

For those who are concerned about what's going on here, we in Ontario under Doug Ford are paying more so the rich can live better.

https://www.theglobeandmail.com/business/article-ontarios-tax-expenditures-are-growing-faster-than-program-spending/

The report also analyzed the distribution of tax expenditures by income level, finding that higher earners received a large portion of the benefits, particularly from tax deductions from income. The highest-earning 20 per cent of households, with income above $123,400, received 75 per cent of tax deductions, a reflection of higher marginal tax rates, and of the fact that higher-income taxpayers can take greater advantage of savings and investment credits.

The distribution was more even for tax credits, which are deducted after tax has been calculated. For tax credits, the highest-earning 20 per cent received 26 per cent of the benefit, while the lowest-earning 20 per cent of households received 16 per cent of the benefit.

Regardless of what some on here try to falsely push....

Canadas Cost of Living goes UP, while wages Decrease

Canada’s cost of living is going up, despite the fact that wages aren’t, according to Yahoo Finance.

Statistics Canada has revealed that median after-tax income did not change for individuals, remaining at $61,400. That’s virtually unchanged from 2017 and 2018

This figure shows that wages have not kept up with inflation. It also doesn’t keep up with corporate profit, which rose nine percent in the space of that same period.

This has resulted in more insolvencies as Canadians struggle to keep their heads above water. The only province that did not feel this effect was Doug Ford’s Ontario, which saw incomes raise by 3.3 percent.

Nova Scotia had the lowest personal income, only taking home $52,200, while Alberta took $72,700, which was the highest.

Thank you for backing what I have been saying.

Because as you have posted, even in Ontario wages aren't keeping up with corporate profits, and 'local' inflation.

Even though Ontario had the highest wage growth, it still wasn't beating inflation.

Because they were funding before the conservatives were giving tax cuts to the rich.

Finally some leadership versus what the other so called leaders who continue to look for “options”.

Meanwhile ROME burns (or is already burnt )

Ford calls out to industry and industry answers the call

We need your help, that was Premier Doug Ford’s plea to Ontario’s industrial base on Saturday, expanding on a call made earlier in the week to try to make essential items to fight COVID-19 right here at home.

“The Ontario spirit never ceases to amaze me,” said Ford.

The Premier noted that companies like Linimar, General Motors, Martinrea — all auto companies — offered to retool their facilities to make medical equipment to fight COVID-19.

Ford also announced that his government has put a whole team in charge of helping manufacturers who can shift the production from their current lines to make essential equipment like ventilators, masks and swabs.

“We’re ready to mobilize Ontario’s manufacturing might to help the entire country. We want Ontario to be the workshop of Canada in the fight against COVID-19,” Ford said.

Warren Kinsella

”See that guy?

That’s Doug Ford, Premier of Ontario.

Dental Brands, a company in Markham, texted him to say they were donating 90,000 masks to hospitals in Ontario. Ford drove to their warehouse and loaded the masks onto his truck. Didn’t tell his staff.

Got the masks.”

Was just going to post the same thing but see that you have beat me to it.  I don't live in Ontario and DF is not "my" guy but kinda looks like he's doing a pretty good job dealing with this issue.  Some reporter today tried to get him to criticize Truedope and he wouldn't take the bait.  (Good thing they didn't ask me!)

Doug Ford visits auto part manufacturer, delivers 1000 new respirator masks

“ Doug Ford is leading by example. Not only has he personally delivered some 90,000 surgical masks in his truck, but he has also now helped Woodbridge Auto Group’s factory in Vaughn deliver 1,000 respiratory masks, according to CP24.

On Tuesday, the factory was visited by Ford, where he helped deliver the masks. These masks are important as they are crucially similar to the desperately needed N95 masks that aren't produced anywhere in Canada.

Ford and his staff received 1,000 of the factory's new masks for distribution.

“While our government continues to pursue and exhaust every avenue available to secure the PPE needed to fight COVID-19, today marks the beginning of Ontario moving towards greater self-sufficiency on vital supplies that will keep us well equipped now and into the future,” said Doug Ford in a statement.”

I am impressed with the way that Ford has stepped up and shown a more mature and cooperative nature.

The way he is being supportive of the public, and providing funding he's almost being...…..  liberal 😉

Let's see if it continues after the crisis has passed.
