So, a white woman calls another white woman a "**bleep**" and that is OK, what if a man had done the same......  ?????  But I guess it is the same as when a black person calls another black person a "N......" and heaven help if a white person did the same.......

Two Transgenders Blow Out Girls In State Meet

You wonder how the other runners may have felt.

On Monday, when Connecticut had its State Open track and field championships at Willow Brook Park, one person broke the State Open records for girls in both the 100 and 200-meter runs.

That person was a biological boy.

Terry Miller of Bulkeley, a transgender, won the events. In the 100 meter dash, the runner-up was Andraya Yearwood of Cromwell, also a transgender.

The stats should read like this:

1st place - Terry Miller *

2nd place  - Andraya Yearwood*

3rd place Suzi Smith

* - not really a woman but allowed to compete in women's event due to post-modern, neo-liberal identity politics.

OMG...The pigs are lining up at the trough!! Here is an “ efficiency” Ford should tackle?

“ All MPPs are entitled to severance if they quit or are defeated, and this election’s large turnover means a far larger severance than after the 2014 campaign when 18 departing MPPs of all political stripes shared about $2.8 million in severance, the Canadian Taxpayers Federation (CTF) estimated at the time. “

The Iranian "women's" soccer team has found a loophole. Instead of comprising a team of actual women, they have added on eight full grown men who they claim are transgender and awaiting sex changes.

“ This will not seem like breaking news to many people, but apparently humans are getting dumber.

That’s not a value judgment. It turns out that a key assumption in the field of intelligence research – that humanity’s collective smarts have measurably increased in each decade since the 1930s – could well be wrong.

That assumption is known in some quarters as the Flynn effect, named after James Flynn, a New Zealand-born political studies professor who described it in the 1980s.

Norwegian economists Bernt Bratsberg and Ole Rogeberg have poked at the concept for a number of years, most recently using administrative data on 730,000 Norwegian men that go back to the 1960s. They have found that intelligence as measured by I.Q. (itself a fraught concept) has declined since 1975.

Perhaps more interestingly, they concluded that environmental factors are the likeliest explanation. Though the data don’t support a causal link, the two researchers point to “changes in educational exposure or quality, changing media exposure, worsening nutrition or health, and social spillovers from increased immigration.”

If the National anthem was so offensive to the Quebec leftist who proposed the change.....The only question that remains is...Why did Trudeau and his cronies only change the English version?

One could pick apart almost every line in the French version and find it politically incorrect.

**********************

While English Canada was feverishly writing letters and attending committee hearings over a slight change to O Canada, the issue has gone almost completely unnoticed in Quebec.

And the reason is simple; while English Canadians will now sing a gender neutral “in all of us command,” the French version of O Canada will still be chock full of gendered language, Christian triumphalism and straight-up 19th century saber-rattling.

“Your arm knows how to wield a sword,” sing Francophone Canadians in the “with glowing hearts” part.

Altogether, the official French lyrics bear almost no resemblance to those in English. While Anglophones hint at a northern land that they’ll guard somehow, the French version directly addresses Canada as a devout figure ready to smite its enemies.

Described as a someone whose “valour is steeped in faith,” the Canada figure carries both a cross and a sword and is cloaked in heroic wreaths of flowers

Your history is an epic of brilliant exploits,” it reads.

Instead of a vague “stand on guard for thee,” French O Canada vows that this personified Canada will “protect our homes and rights.”

And the triumphalism shifts into overdrive for the rarely sung second stanza. Canada’s men are described as the products of a “proud race” who, “under the eyes of God” will protect the “honour of their flag.”

“It is not universalist. It is not multicultural. It is not ‘peace-making,’” read a 2006 post by Ted Byfield, the Alberta journalist best known as the founder of Alberta Report.

“Purely and simply, it’s an old-fashioned Catholic Christian hymn from the days of monarchy.”

Jane Moss, a professor of Canadian Studies at Duke University, has similarly described it as being in keeping with the “ethno-clerical, nationalist fervour of the 19th century.”

And indeed. plenty countries around the world have anthems dating from a more jingoistic era. In France, for one, the famous La Marseillaise talks about killing traitors and soaking the fields with “impure blood.”

As for gendered language — the focus of the recent change to English O Canada — the practice is less noticeable in Francophone O Canada since all of French is gendered to some degree.

Almost all French nouns have been ascribed arbitrary status as a “masculine” or “feminine” word. Thus, O Canada mentions a forehead (male), an arm (male), a cross (female) and valour (female).

However, the song does deftly avoid mentioning whether the figure of Canada itself is a “he” or “she.”

The French O Canada lyrics are the original, however. The song is originally a Francophone tune, and originated as an exclusively French-Canadian anthem at a time when most Anglophones were too busy singing “God Save the Queen” or the “Maple Leaf Forever.”

The Maple Leaf Forever, incidentally, closely matches French O Canada for its 19th century nationalist fervour — albeit with a noticeable pro-Anglo slant.

Over four stanzas, the Maple Leaf Forever celebrates Scots, Irish and Englishmen all banding together to conquer the French and fight off the Americans.

“Our brave fathers, side by side … firmly stood and nobly died,” it says.

Official French lyrics to O Canada
O Canada! Terre de nos aïeux,
Ton front est ceint de fleurons glorieux.
Car ton bras sait porter l’épée,
Il sait porter la croix.
Ton histoire est une épopée,
Des plus brillants exploits.
Et ta valeur, de foi trempée,
Protégera nos foyers et nos droits.
Protégera nos foyers et nos droits.

Translation:
O Canada! Land of our ancestors.
Your brow is covered with glorious flower garlands.
Because your arm knows how to wield a sword
And knows how to carry a cross
Your history is an epic
Of brilliants exploits
And your valour is steeped in faith
Protect our homes and our rights
Protect our homes and our rights

Schumer Says He’d Rather ‘Keep The Focus On Trump' Than Solve Border Problems

You never want a serious crisis to go to waste." -- Rahm Emanuel, former chief of staff to President Barack Obama

****

In a news story published Tuesday by The Hill headlined "Schumer rejects GOP proposal to address border crisis," the writer included this paragraph: "Asked if that meant Democrats would not support a bill backed by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) to keep immigrant families together while seeking asylum on the U.S. border, Schumer said they want to keep the focus on Trump."

That's right, Schumer doesn't want to solve the problem -- God forbid! -- he'd rather just "keep the focus on Trump."

Schumer, who has bashed Trump at every turn and has repeatedly declared that Congress -- not the president -- should take this action or that, now suddenly wants to defer to Trump. He claims Congress simply can't solve the problem, but Trump, with the stroke of a pen, can.

“There are so many obstacles to legislation and when the president can do it with his own pen, it makes no sense,” Schumer told reporters after he rejected a GOP legislative proposal on Tuesday that would fix the border separation issue. “Legislation is not the way to go here when it’s so easy for the president to sign it.”

Asked if he'd wait a long time before taking action, Schumer said, "“Let’s hope we never get to that. Let’s hope the president does the right thing and solves the problem, which he can do. That’s the simple, easiest and most likely way this will happen."

Trump has repeatedly said Congress should solve the problem, as has Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, who on Monday told reporters “Congress alone can fix it.”

McConnell said Tuesday that he wanted the Senate to take up the bill immediately so they could put a permanent fix in place that would stop families from being separated at the border. “We hope to reach out to the Democrats to see if we can get a result,” he said. “Which means making a law and not get into some sparring match back and forth that leads to no conclusion.”

But suddenly, Schumer says Congress is ineffectual and simply unable to fix the problem.

Makes so much sense now that he's the leader of Senate DEmocrats, doesn't it?

Trump vs. Obama: Two Approaches to Migrant Families and Minors

Presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump were both faced with the issue of unaccompanied minors and family units following the passage of a law by a Democrat-controlled Congress and signed by President George W. Bush in 2008. The law, intended to curb human smuggling, became a magnet for families and children to the U.S. border.

“The most obvious and direct cause of the flood of children from Central America is the 2008 human trafficking law that ended the rapid deportation of unaccompanied minors who come illegally from countries other than Mexico and Canada,” the Washington Post wrote in July 2014. “The law, which cleared both houses of Congress by unanimous consent and was signed by George W. Bush in his final days in office, was bipartisan and well intentioned — but it was exploited by the very traffickers it was meant to target, who encouraged this huge emigration of children from Central America.”

The Trump Administration could not agree more with the Post’s article.

“Once again it is Congress’s job to change the law. We’re calling on them to do exactly that,” White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders told reporters on Monday in response to criticism of President Trump’s policies regarding families and minors at the border by former First Lady Laura Bush, Breitbart News’ John Nolte reported.

“And, frankly, this law was actually signed into effect in 2008 under her husband’s leadership, not under this administration,” she added. “We’re not the one’s responsible for creating this problem; we’ve inherited it. But we’re actually the first administration stepping up and trying to fix it.”

The manner in which Presidents Obama and Trump handled what became an overwhelming crisis stands in sharp contrast.

President Obama:

  • Creates magnet for families and minors with the implementation of the DACA Program.
  • Expands magnet with the implementation of DAPA for parents.
  • Keeps news of surging migrant families and minors quiet until June 2014.
  • Warehouses large numbers of families and minors in overcrowded and unsafe conditions.
  • Implements “Catch and Release 2.0,” program to release minors and families into U.S. interior.
  • Prohibits media and congressional leaders from photographing conditions in detention centers.
  • Orders deployment of National Guard to supplement border security efforts.

President Trump:

  • Rescinds DAPA program.
  • Orders end of DACA program and urges Congress to find a permanent solution.
  • Issues order to stop migrant family “caravans” at the border to prevent overcrowding at shelters.
  • Issues “zero-tolerance” policy for first-time border crossers.
  • Orders increased prosecution of repeat border crossers.
  • Implements policy to remove minors from parents being prosecuted for illegally crossing the border.
  • Improves the quality of living conditions for detained minors.
  • Orders deployment of National Guard to supplement border security efforts.
  • Proposes border walls and fencing to replace decaying infrastructure and increase border security.
  • Invites media and congressional leaders to tour new family and minors detention and processing centers.

Shortly before President Obama’s re-election in 2012, he introduced a program that allowed some young people who were brought to the U.S. illegally by their parents to remain in the U.S. without fear of removal. The administration action became known as the Deferred Action Against Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. The impact on the southwest border was immediate as scores of families and unaccompanied minors began to move to the southern border with hopes of being included in similar programs in the future.

You are a full blown communist Deicer.

I'll bet you've been a lifelong NDP supporter, which is as close to communism as a hopeful socialist can get in this land, and your main mission is to get even with so-called rich people.

IOW, let’s dig this hole so damn deep Canada will never be able to climb out of it.

Former NDP Suggests Sanctioning Trump’s Personal Businesses

North American politics may be heading straight into a very nasty state of personal attacks, as independent MPs suggest targeting the President and his family directly.

According to a recent Narcity report”The suggestion was brought up during Tuesday’s question period in the House. MP Erin Weir, a former NDP supporter and current member of the Co-operative Commonwealth Federation, took to the floor to say that he “supports the Prime Minister standing up to President Trump.”

“To apply further pressure, has the government considered retaliatory sanctions targeting the Trump organization rather than the American people?

Why Does This Matter?

This move occurred directly after the Prime Ministers recent attacks against his American counterpart were found to directly help boost his falling approval rating.

I suspect that in both cases there are radicals cheering on both individuals.

The truth that these leaders seem to be ignoring is that Canada needs a good deal with the United States.

Pointless and personal attacks will do nothing to assure a good deal, especially when Trump has shown a willingness to continuously fight until he somehow wins.

Gosh, you are funny.  Without knowing me, you have me pegged?????

Even if I was a socialist communist Lifelong NDP supporter, I sleep well knowing that I have done my bit to give back to society and to share so that those with less are treated with dignity.

Better than being a self centered, narcissistic sociopath like you are. I base that on the contents of your posts and this: https://www.psychologytoday.com/ca/blog/5-types-people-who-can-ruin-your-life/201803/how-spot-sociopath-in-3-steps

Yes, I know, I'm a horrible human being Dr. Deicer.

I also am aware that left wing communists use all sorts of ploys to confuse the issues and duck reality.

You're free to believe whatever you like I guess, but your side's perspective would be a whole lot more credible if it was to start funding its favorite causes without forcing its hands into my very financially Conservative pockets.

GO DONALD!

THE SWITCHEROO: A sociopath will often switch back and forth between extreme charm and extreme threats to get whatever they want from someone, depending on what they see is or isn’t working at the time. Watch out for strong opinions, which they then drop to adopt the opposite point of view when it’s convenient or makes them look good. They will use whatever words they perceive as helping them dominate the situation at the moment, like an artist’s palette of colors.

TARGETS OF BLAME: As I mentioned in Part 1, many sociopaths end up focused on Targets of Blame—people who they feel justified in treating cruelly, whether in their families, at work or in their communities. They often enjoy the suffering of other people.
