By The Canadian Press Mon., July 24, 2017     LONDON, ONT.—A southern Ontario city has removed controversial signs posted at municipal swimming pools that said children over the age of three weren’t permitted in change rooms for the opposite sex. The move by staff in London, Ont., comes after a storm of complaints from parents on social media. The signs had directed parents to ask a staff member to escort a child through the proper change room. The city’s aquatic services department had said the policy was based on feedback from users and their comfort levels with such situations. By Monday afternoon, however, the city’s division manager of aquatics, arenas and attractions said all the signs had been removed, adding that they did not reflect a city bylaw for parks and recreation. Coun. Mohamed Salih, who had contacted city staff about the signs over the weekend, said the city will continue to allow kids aged 12 and under to be accompanied by a parent or caregiver in opposite sex change rooms, as per the city bylaw.

12 year old boys need to stay safe and close to mommy in the girls change room?

Humanity has lost its way and allowed the cuckoos to run the show.

Wisconsin company offers microchip implants to employees

Company says it is first in United States to offer the technology to staff

Thomson ReutersPosted: Jul 26, 2017 10:35 AM ET Last Updated: Jul 26, 2017 10:47 AM ET

A Wisconsin vending machine company is offering its employees a chance to have a microchip implanted in their hands that they could use to buy snacks, log in to computers or use the copy machine.

About 50 employees at Three Square Market have agreed to the optional implant of the chips, which are the approximate size and shape of a grain of rice, said Tony Danna, vice president of international sales at the River Falls-based company.

The company, which employs 85, said it was the first in the United States to offer staff the technology which is similar to that used by contactless credit cards and chips used to identify pets.

The implants made by Sweden's BioHax International are part of a long-term test aimed to see if the radio-frequency identification chips could have broader commercial applications, Danna said.

"We've done the research and we're pretty well educated about this," Danna said in an interview.

Chip party

The company is holding an Aug. 1 "chip party" where employees will have the device inserted between their forefinger and thumb using a syringe-like instrument.

The RFID chips use electromagnetic fields to communicate and can be read at a distance of no more than six inches (15 centimetres), Danna said.

Critics of using chips in humans include Nevada State Senator Becky Harris, who in February introduced legislation that would make forced installation of microchips illegal.

"It is possible to hack the information that is contained within the chips," Harris told a state Senate judiciary committee meeting at the time.

The company's CEO Todd Westby in a statement predicted the technology could become popular among companies.

"Eventually, this technology will become standardized allowing you to use this as your passport, public transit, all purchasing opportunities, etc.," he said.

The proposed program is just another expensive left-wing social 'cause' looking for a place to grow roots.

The answer is YES, we are allowing this to occur ....welcome to Canada in 2017.  IMHO, On top of having this poor kid rescued  from this destructive environment, at a minimum this mother should be charged with child abuse.

Another use for a microchip:

The train conductor reads the chip with a smartphone to confirm the passenger has paid for their journey.

Rail company accepts tickets on a microchip in your hand

If you are a rail traveller who frequently forgets or loses your train ticket, a Swedish rail company may have a solution for you.

Travellers on SJ Railways are able to have their ticket loaded onto a microchip in their hand.

The train conductor is able to read the chip with a smartphone to confirm the passenger has paid for their journey.

The Travel Show's Ade Adepitan joined a train bound for Stockholm to find out more.

Another logical, easily anticipated product of the transgender washroom/change room movement. I suspect this will catch on quickly and the floodgates will open. You only need to self identify… if faced with prison, you can be assured I would ident as a women too. Where is the "like its a toilet" crowd now... they seem quiet.

I liked mo32a's earlier comment; "Well I'm a man but I identify as a woman, but I'm a lesbian. I'm having a great time".

Serious question ...

If someone was to wake up one day and feel like identifying as a Native Canadian, wouldn't it be appropriate for the Governments of Canada to accept their new classification for taxation purposes?

LOL, I hadn’t considered that; it’s worth a try, I’m rooting for you.

Thinking this stuff would only apply to a private toilet stall was pure liberal fantasy. My opposition to it is not even for myself, its for others and I think women, in particular, will be adversely affected by it. Personally, on long deployments, it bothers me not at bit to shower with attractive females who self identify as gay men. If I did have to do jail time, it would be folly not to identify as a woman… and a gay one at that. You would have to pry me out of jail with a crow bar.

I still blame seatbelt and helmet laws for the proliferation of stupid. Now it’s a “white" NHL vs a "black" NFL... who even thinks like that, if only JT could tax this stuff.  Liberals are in real danger of giving up their "moderate" support base by embracing stupid with every breath and manufacturing more of it daily. This article gives the impression of widespread support and it's simply not so. That's why the poles are always getting it wrong; wrong poles are making stupid worse by encouraging more of it. As a wise warrior once said, the gains are slow, late and inconsiderable, the losses sudden and astounding.

For anyone wondering “why Trump?” Also for those liberals who will  ask, “why Trump again?”  or "why are the poles always wrong?" Here is a hint:

This is what people will vote against and continue to be afraid of. In short, YOU created Trump.. until you learn that lesson, you will continue to march around the mountain.

It’s worrisome that people think the road is at fault here. Of all the provinces I drove through on the bike this year, Ontario had the worst drivers. Rampant speeding, tailgating and aggressive driving coupled with an abysmal lack of enforcement might have something to do with it.

What happened to 90 kph as a method of saving gas, reducing emissions and making the world a greener place? Where are those liberals when ya need em?
http://www.torontosun.com/2017/10/01/stop-the-fatalities-along-carnage-alley

Cars and roads don’t cause accidents, drivers do. Toronto doesn’t have a gun problem, it has a gang problem. Sometimes identifying the problem is the first step in fixing it. Photo radar and rigid enforcement would have an immediate effect, raise money and save gas. There are benefits to taxing stupidity.

PS. No worries, last post on this thread. It’s like fishing with a drift net.
