Seeker Posted May 2, 2017 Author Share Posted May 2, 2017 I guarantee you that there are people right now who are figuring out ways to game the system - people who are going to make a "job" out of booking tickets around Christmas, Thanksgiving, Spring Break, etc and who will check in at the last possible minute with the hope/expectation of a big "compensation" payout when they throw a theatrical tamtrum at the gate. boestar Posted May 2, 2017 Share Posted May 2, 2017 yes there are. There are websites dedicated to gaming the system from Payouts to Frequent flyer miles. it is a game. I have sat in many a departure lounge hearing the announcement for volunteers, wishing I could raise my hand and take the money. A few months back departing Halifax they were taking Volunteers at $800 a pop plus a hotel to depart the next day. Didn't take long at that price point.
