But apparently it has been rebuilt several times and stones cemented in.

Indeed it has, but if it had not been "fixed" now and then the stones would have just toppled because of normal environment evolution and there would be a pile of rubble instead of the Stonehenge.

To dismiss Stonehenge as a hoax exemplifies the brain power  of those that have nothing more to do with their life than to  put forth conspiracy theories.

Hold on - you're missing the point.  It's not that "Stonehenge is a Hoax" as in it never happened, it's "Stonehenge is a Hoax" as it's presented.  It's commonly presented as, "look at these amazing stones that have been standing here in a field like this for a thousand years" instead of "hey we took these old stones away, bulldozed the site, poured concrete footings and put the stones back in their approximate positions".  The issue is simply that it's not being presented accurately.  Imagine a car that's being presented as original and unrestored and then you find out it had bodywork done, fenders welded and new acrylic polymer paint applied.  Sure it's the same car but I think you'd agree that some of it's value is gone.  The same goes for Stonehenge - same stones but some of the mystique is definitely gone knowing that's it's being reassembled and worked on.

Bernard Cornwell wrote a book called Stonehenge.

It is historical fiction but like all of his books he has researched the topic and then come up with some plausible explanations.  In his idea Stonehenge was built through many decades and after a few smaller projects had given the people experience in how to do it.

His theory is that the design and purpose is all based upon religion, superstition and politicians wishes.

Just like today with windfarms, carbon taxes and 'the crisis with opiads'.

In this case....semantics used to garner persons to view...poor choice of words but it gets people to peruse the video and those that are not well informed will feel it is "true" ..................after all it is on the Internet :o

I guess we could say "Sphinx Hoax Exposed" as well........would you agree??
