QuoteOn Wednesday, bullet holes could still be found in cars parked nearby. Police told CP24 they found so many shell casings they ran out of plastic evidence markers to cover them with, and were forced to improvise. Neighbours say the illegal booze can has been operating off an alleyway south and parallel to Lakeshore Boulevard for about a week.

Guest
I agree, but of course the bakers would have been in the store making the baked goods for sale that day. However it appears that there are bakeries open to the public at that hour. Quote Seven West. 24/7 Kitchen with full menu and a few cakes on display. According to cops, around 10:34 a.m. on Route 37 in tiny Oswegatchie (population 4,424) in St. Lawrence County, NY State Police and the Border Patrol pulled over Ayub Y. Guled. The 19-year-old was a mere nine minutes from Ogdensburg sitting across the St. Lawrence River from Prescott, safety and boffo bucks. Instead, Guled was arrested and charged with eight counts of criminal possession of a firearm, eight counts of criminal possession of a weapon, 10 counts of criminal possession of a weapon, one count of criminal possession of a weapon and criminal sale of a firearm. He was also charged with criminal possession of stolen property and criminal impersonation — both misdemeanors — for allegedly providing false identifying information to police. https://torontosun.com/news/national/hunter-accused-gun-runner-from-toronto-nabbed-on-iron-pipeline Probably the first hint something was up, was that he was trying to cross at Ogensburg/Johnstown...if he was headed to Toronto, he should have been crossing at the Thousand Islands bridge from I 81. The board noted that he is in a category where four out of five similar offenders will not commit an indictable offence within three years of release. Guest
Walmart removes firearms, ammunition from store floors in U.S., citing 'isolated civil unrest' Move designed to protect customers, employees as tensions rise, retail chain says Thomson Reuters · Posted: Oct 29, 2020 5:05 PM ET | Last Updated: 25 minutes ago Walmart, the world's largest retailer, said Thursday it has removed firearms and ammunition from its U.S. sales floors. (Sue Ogrocki/The Associated Press) Walmart Inc. removed firearms and ammunition from store floors in the United States this week to protect customers and employees as tensions across the country rise, the Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday. "We have seen some isolated civil unrest and as we have done on several occasions over the last few years," a Walmart spokesperson told the newspaper. "We have moved our firearms and ammunition off the sales floor as a precaution for the safety of our associates and customers." The Bentonville, Ark.-based retailer, the largest in the world, will still sell guns upon request. The move comes after several days of protests, widespread vandalism and an overnight curfew in Philadelphia after police fatally shot a Black man who had a history of mental health problems. In June, Walmart pulled firearms and ammunition from some U.S. stores amid nationwide protests over the death of an unarmed Black man, George Floyd, at the hands of Minnesota police in late May. Last year, Walmart stopped selling handgun and short-barrel rifle ammunition while requesting that customers not openly carry firearms in its stores, even where state laws allow it. The company also ended the sale of handguns in Alaska, the last state where stores still carried them.

The sad part is, the media won't even tell us the truth on a simple story like this. Fact is, this boy was for all intents and purposes dead the day he was shot. To put it simply, a number of other people will live because of him, so some good will come of this tragedy.
