djoblops
Good day guys, I just signed up on this forum because I am new to the scene. I've looked around and I like the potpourri of this forum. Hopefully someone can help me understand this manner. I want to calculate the fuel consumption for a distance. How do I do this? I have some numbers but can't seem to find the answers. We are looking at the ATR42-600 ... when I check on flightpedia.org it tells me the distance is 487 Nautical Miles. How do I know how much a commercial flight ATR42-600 with say 40 people and their luggage will sip on fuel to cover the distance (487 nautical miles). I am not even finding info on what type of fuel these ATR42-600's use. If anyone can help me, or link me to somewhere with some info... it will be highly appreciated.
